From Tuesday, October 15, to Thursday, January 30, Hôtel de l’Alpage is offering a special, seasonal Winter Retreat. During this period, guests can enjoy the winter scenery, such as light snow fluttering between the bare white birches, soft winter sunlight that illuminates the sea of soft white powder against the azure blue sky. Relax with a “Remedial Massage” using nourishing organic jojoba oil while enjoying the view of the winter landscape, savor seasonal winter cuisine, and soak in an open-air spacious bathtub looking out at the twinkling snow from inside the leisure of your room. The massage treatment will take place in the comfort of a spacious suite, where guests can indulge in luxurious therapy while their companions unwind in a separate room.

The retreat includes fine French wines and authentic French cuisine, served in a setting featuring spacious rooms with high ceilings and large vertical windows, chandeliers, furnishings, and artwork imported from Europe, creating the ambiance of a French chateau in Japan. This winter, experience a refined retreat, enjoying a unique seasonal atmosphere.

What is Remedial Massage?
Remedial Massage is an advanced therapy commonly practiced in Australia, a leading country in natural treatments. A therapist with a deep knowledge of anatomy performs the treatment using oil, working on the deep layers of muscles and lymph nodes to promote relaxation. Before the session, the therapist conducts a consultation to understand each guest’s specific needs. The therapy is led by Emiri, representative of “Celestia Tateshina,” a forest retreat at an elevation of 1,750 meters.

• This is a special plan limited to one group per day (up to 3 guests), which includes a 60-minute Remedial Massage course.
• The treatment (60-minute body massage) will be performed in the suite room.
• Treatment start times are as follows:

  Treatment extensions are available for up to 120 minutes, in 15-minute increments.
